October 2025 T3 User Group News – Issue #4

Hello T3 Facilitators,

As we wrap up the fall season, it’s exciting to see how much our T3 community has grown since launching our first User Group meeting in January. Over the past four sessions, we’ve shared ideas, collaborated on creative approaches, and strengthened our facilitation impact.

If you weren’t able to join the most recent User Group meeting, the recording and meeting notes are now available on the T3 webpage. While you’re there, please take a few minutes to complete the survey. Your feedback will help us make the User Group meetings even more engaging and valuable as we move into 2026.

What’s New This Quarter

TKI Assessment Tool Goes Digital

We’re officially transitioning from paper-based to automated TKI assessments!

This new digital format makes it easier to administer and provides faster, richer insights for both individuals and teams.

Even more exciting, there’s now an entirely new Team TKI report, designed specifically for use with intact teams. This expanded tool offers valuable data to help us identify group conflict styles, dynamics, and opportunities for collaboration and team growth.

Highlights:

  • Streamlined virtual setup and administration
  • Report results stored online versus dealing with each individual having a paper report.
  • Cost savings and improved analytics
  • Integration into the Resolve Conflict workshop with additional facilitator content (coming soon!)

Samples of both the individual and team reports, as well as a facilitator guide and supporting materials from Thomas-Kilmann and Myers-Briggs, are available on the T3 webpage.

Video Learning Expansion

We’re making excellent progress converting all 12 workshops from eLearning to video-based learning.

Cindy is leading the script updates, with a target completion of February 2026, while John is updating the T3 Certification Library videos by year-end to ensure all content reflects our latest models and examples.

If you haven’t yet, check out Maximize Performance 365, it’s a great example of the new video format, featuring more visuals, energy, and practical application opportunities for participants. You can view this module in Bridge.

Introducing: Coaching Corner

We’re excited to introduce this new feature in our newsletter this quarter.  This is where we’ll share practical coaching strategies to help you support leaders as they move through the Leadership Development Series.

Helping Leaders Get the Most from the Series

Many participants complete the Leadership Development Series with enthusiasm, but true transformation happens between workshops — when they apply what they’ve learned. As coaches, our role is to help them make that leap from learning to leading differently.

Here are a few simple ways to guide your leaders more effectively:

1. Anchor Each Session with Reflection
Before moving to the next topic, invite your leader to reflect on their progress.
Ask:

  • “What key insight from the last session is still top of mind?”
  • “What did you try differently since our last coaching conversation?”
  • “What impact did you notice?”

Tip: Keep a short reflection log for each participant. It helps track growth across all 12 workshops.

2. Focus on Application, Not Perfection
Remind leaders that development is about small steps, not flawless execution.
Ask:

  • “What would progress look like, even if it’s imperfect?”
  • “Where could you safely experiment with this skill?”

Tip: Celebrate small wins. They build confidence and momentum.

3. Link Learning to Real Work Challenges
Bring the concepts to life by connecting them to the leader’s day-to-day work.
Ask:

  • “Where do you see this challenge showing up right now?”
  • “How might this concept help you lead your team more effectively?”

Tip: After modules like Resolve Conflict or Engage Your Team, encourage leaders to apply the concepts immediately in real situations.

4. Encourage Peer Connection
Learning sticks best when leaders share experiences.
Ask:

  • “Who else in your cohort might offer perspective or support?”
  • “What idea could you borrow from a fellow participant?”

Tip: Encourage short “learning partner” check-ins between sessions to keep accountability high.

5. Reinforce the Coaching Mindset Beyond the Series
Help leaders see coaching as a daily leadership skill, not just a workshop activity.
Ask:

  • “Where might you coach instead of solve?”
  • “How can you use curiosity with your team the way we use it here?”

Tip: Suggest short, weekly “coaching moments,” even five minutes at a time can strengthen habits and create lasting change.

Look for new coaching tips in each issue to continue deepening your conversations and strengthening your impact with the leaders you support.
